Laying in my bed,
Looking up at the stars,
Thoughts hunts the mind,
Taking control of the brain’s kingdom,
Conscience becoming prisoner.
Who could have known?
Emotions are wordless,
Yet feelings are noisy,
Louder then words would ever be.
Desire makes its appearance,
Attracting Sorrow along with him.
Where is Happiness?
It has gone missing,
Even Courage is not brave enough,
Finding his friend is too frightening.
Joy seems like a luxury for the normal ones.
But sleep is more important.
“Tomorrow shall be better”
I lied to my mind as my eyes close,
And the Sandman performs its work.
